The successful Catering Intern candidate will support the Sales and Operations teams of Restaurant Associates at Harvard Business School. They will work closely with current managers to control and communicate event information and learn to execute events successfully.
Support the catering department with sidework and assist in running events during Commencement and Reunions. Events range from 20-4000 guests.
- 18 years of age
Ability to lift 30 pounds or more
Ability to stand for long periods of time – shift will be about 8 - 10 hours each with 30 minute breaks
Uniforms and training will be provided.
Must be enrolled in a college/university or technical program to receive college credit
Possess an interest in learning, observing, and practicing a variety of experiences in our industry
Demonstrate awareness, understanding, and skills necessary to work in a diverse environment
Excellent writing and editing skills
Articulate, with strong interpersonal skills
Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
Solid project management acumen
Detail-oriented
Self-directed, proactive, and curious
Flexible and adaptable
