About The Role:

This internship is crafted for current college students, undergraduate or graduate seeking a career in Commercial Real Estate and Facility Management. Participation in the program is intended to provide a well-rounded knowledge of the Commercial Real Estate and Facility Management business and valuable skills, earned by working alongside dedicated professionals in the largest and most successful global Commercial Real Estate services firm.

The internship accelerates your learning and development by providing you with a great foundation of Facility Management. The program provides you with an outstanding perspective on our coordinated service lines. As a program participant, you will also partake in learning and development activities crafted especially for you and the site’s needs.

What You'll Do:

  • Support the team in managing and maintaining facilities. This may include tasks such as conducting routine inspections, monitoring preventive maintenance programs.

  • Assist with space planning initiatives, including analyzing space utilization data, conducting surveys, and providing recommendations for optimizing space efficiency.

  • Work closely with the team to ensure that space allocations align with the needs and objectives.

  • Work on various vendor management tasks, including assisting escorting vendors, and coordinating with vendors to ensure timely service delivery.

  • Support facilities-related projects, both ongoing and new initiatives. This may involve assisting with project planning, tracking progress, coordinating resources, and providing regular updates to the facilities team.

  • Assist with various administrative tasks related to facilities management, such as maintaining records, preparing reports, organizing documents, and coordinating meetings or events.

What You'll Need:

HS Diploma or GED required. Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) or other relevant vocational training preferred.

Comprehend, analyze, and interpret the most complex business documents.

Make effective and persuasive presentations on complex topics to employees, clients, top management and/or public groups.

Requires in-depth knowledge of financial terms and principles. Ability to calculate complex figures. Ability to forecast and prepare budgets. Conducts financial/business analysis including the preparation of reports.

Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office Suite products such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, SharePoint, OneNote, Outlook, etc. Comfortable with and embracing of new technologies and digital tools; such as Apps, databases, financial management, work order management, social networking, cloud technologies, handheld mobile technologies and applications, and communications.

Physical ability to assist with warehouse operations. Able to lift 50 lbs.

Recommendations/decisions made with understanding and interpretation of procedures, company policies and business practices to achieve general results. Responsible for setting deadlines.

Complete at a satisfactory level all required and assigned HSE training.

Follow all activity policies and procedures, including all HSE related requirements at all time.

Participate in all HSE related programs & activities as required, including incident investigations, interviews, auditing and assessment, etc.

Report any condition which you feel could result in an accident or injury and / or stop work if require.

Be aware of and understand all safe work practices and procedures and potential hazards associated with the work environment.

Maintain and wear at all times required appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE

Apply appropriate material handling techniques at all times.

Only operate warehouse equipment and machinery (e.g. pallet jacks, manlifts, etc.) if properly trained, qualified and authorized to do so.

Massachusetts Residents: CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate's education, training and experience. The minimum salary for the Intern position is $18.00 per hour and the maximum salary for the Intern position is $20.00 per hour. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience.
