A lab technician position is available in the laboratory of Dr. Jie Zheng, within the joint Department of Chemistry & Biochemistry at The University of Texas at Dallas and the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. Our group’s research focuses on the fundamental understanding of nano-bio interaction via nano materials on both in vivo and in vitro level. We apply these understandings to drive advancements in disease diagnosis and therapy.
Minimum Qualifications:
Associate degree with a minimum of two years hands on experience. An equivalent combination of education and experience is acceptable.
Preferred Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree required; higher education is a plus.
Experience with animals.
Neurology experience preferred.
Basic knowledge of chemistry instrumentation; background as a chemist is a plus.
Willingness to learn.
Ability to commute to the UTSW lab on some days during the week.
