Manpower Engineering is seeking a Quality Engineer for our automotive manufacturing client in Danville, KY. This is an immediate minimum 6-week need due a leave. Looking for someone who can start between April 30 and May 2. Monday through Friday, 1 st shift, flex start between 6am and 8am, 8 hours. Pay rate: $30-40/hour.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Will focus on IATF with upcoming audit late June

• Problem solving Cummins and Ford complaints using DMAIC, 6-Sigma, 8D, 5W

• Determine what documentation needs updating

• Reporting, as needed

• Interface with team members on the floor

Who we are seeking:

• Someone with experience and proficiency in IATF

• Experience with problem-solving tools such as DMAIC, 6-Sigma, 8D, 3L5W

• Ideally, someone with Cummins and/or Ford customer experience
