CBRE Global Workplace Solutions is a leading global provider of integrated facilities and corporate real estate management. We are recruiting a site-based Facilities Coordinator for our site based in Frome.

  • Contractor management

  • Contractor site induction - gathering and checking contractor RAMS carrying out PM and ‘project’ work, archiving records.

  • Issue of ATW/PTW as required.

  • On site checks of contractors as per CBRE procedures and dealing with any issues expediently

  • Liaising with site and contractors to schedule dates for attendance.

  • Checks on work carried out to ensure quality and completeness.

  • Collection and collation of all service records – to be stored centrally.

  • Ensure all CBRE and JCI QHSE requirements are compliant.

  • Liaison

  • Be the immediate point of contact for site, handling service requests, requests for additional works.

  • 100% dedicated to site, site based, able to support with continuous improvement of FM service.

  • Available for JCI audits as required.

Contract Support

  • PO requests and receipting

  • Obtaining competitive supplier quotations

  • Self-perform minor FM works/PMs. (Dependent upon skillset and experience of person selected.)

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required. Minimum of two years of related experience and/or training.

COMMUNICATION SKILLS

Ability to comprehend and interpret instructions, short correspondence, and memos and ask clarifying questions to ensure understanding. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.

Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from clients, co-workers, and/or supervisor. Ability to effectively present information to an internal department and/or large groups of employees.

FINANCIAL KNOWLEDGE

Requires basic knowledge of financial terms and principles. Ability to calculate simple figures such as percentages.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to understand and carry out general instructions in standard situations. Ability to solve problems in standard situations. Requires basic analytical skills.

OTHER SKILLS and/or ABILITIES

Basic skills with Microsoft Office Outlook. Physical requirements include stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs and ladders and ability to lift and carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
