Primary Objectives

• Conduct electrochemistry experiments and utilize surface spectroscopy techniques to standardize electropolishing methods.

• Analyze metal content in electropolishing acid through titration and specific gravity measurements.

• Prepare samples for third party analysis

• Prepare detailed data reports based on results delivered by third-party analysis, ensuring accuracy and thorough documentation of findings for formal reporting.

Secondary Objectives:

• Evaluate the impact of new additives on process and product consistency, focusing on cost, quality, and delivery metrics.

• Asses the effects of alternative rinse acid treatments on surface chemistry and appearance, prioritizing safety and environmental considerations.

• Investigate and propose process control measures to enhance throughput and quality in electropolishing, emphasizing improvements in quality and delivery times.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Accepting students who are currently enrolled in Bachelor degree for Chemistry: at least a Sophomore standing in college

• Interest in manufacturing processes
