Parsons Corporation ELV Manager in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia

Job Description:

Parsons is seeking a highly experienced Manager - ELV to join our team for a large-scale infrastructure project. This position will oversee the planning, implementation, and coordination of all ELV systems for the infrastructure construction project. The ELV Manager will be responsible for managing a team of engineers and technicians to ensure the successful integration and operation of various ELV systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop comprehensive plans for the installation and integration of ELV systems in alignment with project requirements and timelines.

  • Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to establish project objectives, budgets, and schedules.

  • Lead and manage a team of ELV engineers, technicians, and subcontractors to ensure the successful execution of project tasks.

  • Provide guidance, mentorship, and training to team members to enhance their skills and performance.

  • Oversee the design, procurement, installation, testing, and commissioning of ELV systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.

  • Coordinate with various trades and disciplines to integrate ELV systems seamlessly into the overall construction project.

  • Implement quality control measures to ensure the reliability, functionality, and performance of ELV systems.

  • Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify and address any deficiencies or issues promptly.

  • Identify potential risks and challenges related to ELV systems and develop mitigation strategies to minimize their impact on project delivery.

  • Monitor project progress and anticipate any obstacles that may arise during the implementation phase.

  • Evaluate and select qualified vendors and suppliers for ELV equipment and materials, negotiating contracts and ensuring timely delivery of goods and services.

  • Establish strong relationships with vendors and suppliers to facilitate effective communication and resolve any issues that may arise.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation, including project plans, drawings, specifications, and manuals.

  • Prepare regular progress reports and presentations for project stakeholders, highlighting key milestones, achievements, and challenges.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.

  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in ELV systems design, installation, and project management, preferably within the construction industry and a minimum 5yrs+ experience in GCC (KSA experience ideally).

  • Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale infrastructure projects from conception to completion.

  • Strong technical expertise in a wide range of ELV systems, including but not limited to access control, fire alarm, PA/VA, structured cabling, and building automation.

  • Proficiency in relevant software tools and technologies used in ELV system design and integration.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.

  • Knowledge of sustainability principles and green building practices is highly desirable.

  • Familiarity with local building codes, regulations, and standards related to ELV systems.

  • Project management certification (e.g., PMP) is a plus.
