Python / PHP / JavaScript Developer Intern

Based: Katowice, Poland.

Hybrid / Working on-location. Part-time or Full-time contribute 20-40h/week for this job

Length of the internship – 11 months with a possibility to be converted into a permanent position with Siemens.

What you’ll be doing at the Intern Development Programme as member of TestFarm team ;

You will be working independently and as part of group of Agile Scrum teams in the EU, US and worldwide that applies sophisticated testing methodologies to improve software quality, including functional, application, regression and performance testing.

The TestFarm team is internal Siemens testing solution. We are developing website combined with VMware VCD. We got backend written in PHP and JS, on frontend we are using Smarty, JS, JQuery along with Python scripts.

• Developing backend / frontend of our website.

• Developing Python scripts used on our VMs / infrastructure

• Writing documentation on Confluence.

All about you:

You are currently pursuing a Student of degree in Computer/Software Engineering, Electronics or other related field. For this internship it is vital to be enrolled in an engineering program. The successful candidate will need to be highly motivated engineer with excellent communication skills, and the ability to successfully interact with fellow team members and developers every day.

• Conversational English

• Eligibility to work legally in Poland without immigration support

• Attention to details and high-quality work

• Willingness to work independently and as part of the team

• You should have very good knowledge of Python.

• You should have good knowledge of PHP, JS, Git / GitLab

• Knowing Linux, Docker is a plus.
