Chemours is seeking a(n) Document Control Coordinator to join our growing Maintenance and Reliability team! This position will report directly to the Maintenance and Reliability Manager at our La Porte, TX location.

This position is responsible for executing and maintaining an efficient Document Control and Records Management System that meets Chemours, PSM, and RPM requirements for maintenance, reliability, technology and periodically for expense (cost). This position is responsible for the receipt, processing and distribution of all maintenance execution records, design changes, and management of change documentation received from internal maintenance and technology groups.

The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Processes and files for record and documentation, i.e. Management of Change, Engineering Specifications, Completed Maintenance and Inspection Reports

  • Maintains all physical and electronic files in the Maintenance and Technology areas

  • Manages the generation and distribution of new document identifiers and ensures correct naming conventions are used

  • Updates and maintains various tracking spreadsheets and databases

  • perform basic cost control tasks such as budgeting and purchase order tracking.

  • Will receive written, verbal, and electronic requests for documents.

  • Will receive both physical and electronic documents.

  • Will print and issues documents per written procedures.

  • Will use various computer programs in receiving and tracking documents, and will work with various types of printers in creating hard copies per requests.

The following is required for this role:

  • Associate degree, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience

  • Two or more years of Document Control or equivalent position

  • Must have excellent communication skills.

  • Must be computer proficient including a proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and SharePoint

  • Must be organized and have the ability to multitask.

The following is preferred for this role:

  • Experience working with blue prints and construction/engineering drawings.

  • Ability to work effectively with people at all levels of the organization

  • Must be able to perform basic cost control tasks such as budgeting and purchase order tracking.

  • Preferred knowledge of computer programs such as SAP, PCMS, Microsoft Power BI

Pay Range (in local currency):

$25.10 - $39.22
