Position Summary:

Will be introduced to a variety of IT processes, manufacturing applications, and management techniques that will play a role in the day to day operations of the business. Projects may include but are not limited to: Imaging Computers, Computer Replacement, Remote Help Desk, Maintaining Asset Database, Printer Support/Maintenance, and Active Directory Support.

Scope/Supervision and Interaction:

_ Has Direct Reports __X Does Not Have Direct Reports

Collaborates with other Technical Analysts, Senior Technical Analysts and end users.

Essential Functions:

  • Works with infrastructure team to understand the technological impact of the business.

  • Remote Help desk support over the phone/via remote management software.

  • Learn about developing and deploying appropriate Information Technology solutions.

  • Understand how modifications of basic IT systems improve and simplify business systems and reduce operating cost.

  • Learn and comply with procedures for proper utilization of IT technology.

-This position may be assigned (but is not limited to) one of the following key information technology disciplines and/or services:

1.) Software Support

2.) PC Support

3.) LAN/WAN Support

4.) Help Desk

5.) IT Security

• Current college student pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, and related Computer Hardware/Networking degrees.

• Student in Junior or Senior year standing.

• Good communication skills with technical data.

• Ability to analyze and problem solve quickly.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills
