Job Description

A leading material handling organization is seeking an experienced Application Engineer to join our team. This individual can sit fully-remotely in support of their job functions. On this team, you will play a pivotal role in the designing, implementing, and optimization of conveyor systems. This individual will work in collaboration with the Engineering and Sales team to provide solutions to their customers. Some functions of the position include:

 - Analyzing customer requests and proposing new solutions

 - Performing system dimensioning based on requirements

 - Creating AutoCAD 3D drawings for automatic material handling systems

 - Reviewing bids for specification and accuracy

Skills and Requirements

· Bachelors/Masters in Engineering (mechanical/ systems/ process/ electrical/ etc.)

 · 5+ Industry background/experience in material handling/distribution/supply chain e-commerce

 · Experience with large scale system integration

   From concept/design to execution (bidding, proof of concept, estimating cost/timeline, and verification of success probability)

AutoCAD 2D and 3D - arranging drawings (Similar to I-CAD - they use proprietary software) · Experience with singulation or parcels and postal package sorting

 · Data analysis experience (Power Bi, SQL, Tableau)

 · Microsoft Office (PP, Word, Excel, etc) null
