Supply Chain Intern – 8 month position

This position reports to the Manager, Supply Chain Process and Portfolio Analytics and is based at 88 McNabb St., Markham, ON.

What you will do

The Supply Chain Intern working is responsible for closely with the Project Management Team to ensure that we are meeting customer expectations. This role is responsible for analyzing and reporting on key supply chain metrics such as on time ship and service level. You will also support our portfolio management reporting processes. You will also have the opportunity to lead efforts on projects and process improvements that will contribute to the success of the department.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with local and international business partners to report key performance metrics with high degree of accuracy and reporting frequency

  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure related systems are maintained and improved

  • Participate in various projects such as supplier re-sites and graphics changes, new product launches and other supply chain improvement initiatives.

  • Support the demand planning, trade customization and supply planning teams on their daily responsibilities.

  • Participate in ad-hoc projects both within Supply Chain and cross-functionally

Qualifications

What we are looking for

Required Qualifications

  • Enrolled in a Bachelor of Business Administration, Engineering or Science degree program.

  • Co-op Program that allows 8-month work term.

  • Advanced knowledge in MS Excel using large data sets, formulas and reporting knowledge.

  • Proficiency in MS Office software.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Desired Qualifications

  • ERP system knowledge such as SAP/APO

  • Experience with Tableau

  • Exposure to Supply Chain Management through work experience or coursework.
