Accounting & Finance Intern (Part-time)
Job Summary
Nidec Minster Corporation, is currently seeking an Accounting & Finance Intern, to support our Accounting/Finance team with various ad hoc projects. In close collaboration with our teams, you will contribute towards a variety of assignments during the internship, as well as working with cross-functional teams across the Nidec Minster organization.
Job Responsibilities
Accounts Receivable
Follow up with customers on past due invoices; document communications in SAP
Accounts Payable
Review process aged AP credit memos.
Review aged PO receipts (GRIR) and determine clearing resolution
Review and clean up documents in misc. AP electronic folders
Help with review of vendor statements.
Transaction processing in SAP business system
Ad Hoc tasks/projects supporting general accounting, cost accounting, and finance
Other job duties as assigned
Qualifications
Enrolled in an accredited undergraduate college/university and are in good standing
Major in Business Administration Preferred degree in Accounting or Finance
Strong PC skills utilizing Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook software
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
A problem solver with the ability to prioritize competing tasks
A collaborator who is comfortable working in a team setting
