DETAILS: Dragonfly Financial Technologies Corp. is looking to fill one Systems Engineer position reporting to its New York, New York office located at 510 Madison Avenue, 19th Floor, New York, NY 10022 (may telecommute from home residence from anywhere up to 100% of time). Job Summary: Responsible to build and manage scalable, secure and stable platforms in public and private clouds and ensure 100% uptime for all application components. Job Accountabilities: Designing and building Test, Production and DR environments to host Applications. Installing and managing various 3rd Party software. Configuring and deploying Applications. Deploying and managing an application in AWS cloud. Monitoring of Applications and environments. Analyzing, troubleshooting and resolving issues. Automating installation, configuration, deployment, monitoring, validation processes. Collaborating with internal teams and external vendors and customers. Collaborating with 3rd party vendors to negotiate product enhancement and licensing. Collaborating with 3rd party vendors to analyze and resolve any issue with their products. On-call responsibilities on weekdays and weekends. Supporting/Administrating Change management, Incident management, Problem management, Root Cause analysis and Post incidents reviews and preparing required documentations. Initiating and participating in time critical production troubleshooting and triage sessions. Maintaining DR environments and conducting regular DR exercises.MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s Degree (foreign equivalent accepted) in computer science or an Information Technology-related field and 2 years’ experience as a software engineer, analyst, or a related occupation. Experience must include the following specific experience and skills: •2 years’ experience with automation tools like Ansible and Jenkins•1 year of experience with IBM WebSphere Administration•1 year of experience with IBM MQ Administration•1 year of experience with AWS Administration•1 year of experience with DevOps experience•1 year of experience with Windows, AIX and Linux OS•1 year of experience with architecting cloud solutions in AWS•1 year of experience with managing containers and container workflows in AWS ECS or Kubernetes•Proficiency in scripting applications such as Shell, Python and Groovy•Working knowledge of Web server, Application Servers, RDBMS, Operating Systems and Networking concepts•Working knowledge of DB2, SqlServer and PostgreSQl Database•Working Knowledge of Actuate reports•Working knowledge of version controlAnnual salary: $89,300.00 to $111,000.00*Current employees eligible for referral bonus as per company policy with regard to this position.Resume resume to recruitment.us@dragonflyft.com
