JOB DESCRIPTION

PTR Baler and Compactor (PTR) is a leader in the production of waste compactors and balers for recyclable products. The company is thriving due to growth, stability, and client retention of some of the most well-known retailers in the U.S. PTR provides superior products and services. Due to these factors, PTR is expanding the workforce and is hiring MIG Welders / Fitters.

MIG Welder / Fitter

REQUIREMENTS:

• MIG Weld, tack and fabricate products with blueprints.
• Basic mathematical and measurement skills.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints/weld symbols.
• Prior MIG welding and fitting experience.
• Formal MIG weld training and education

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Must have a minimum of 2 plus years of MIG welding experience.
• MIG Welding certification required.
• Formal (technical school) welding training or schooling.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.
• Willing to work 1st or 2nd shift as needed.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Pay: $19.62 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• Night shift
• Overtime

• Philadelphia, PA 19134: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Required)

Experience:

• MIG welding: 2 years (Required)
• Blueprint reading: 2 years (Required)

License/Certification:

• MIG Welding Certification (Required)
