As a Quality Control Auditor, your strong attention to detail will allow you to conduct quality control reviews of residential loan production files including closed loan audits, FHA/VA audits and investor repurchases.

This position is based on-site in our NVR mortgage offices.

Primary Responsibilities

• Perform in-depth reviews of residential loan files in accordance with the Quality Control program and accepted agency standards; including Closed Loan, Discretionary, Prefunding

• Early Payment Default, and Fair Lending reviews

• Submit quality work within established deadlines

• Review Appraisal reports for compliance with all relevant regulatory guidelines

• Review identified loans for possible fraudulent activity

• Review investor/agency repurchase requests and prepare the necessary response for mitigation

• Remain current with regulation changes from governmental/state agencies, as well as policy changes from FHA, VA, Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, NVR Mortgage, and any other agency affecting the company’s loan production process

• Maintain knowledge of all underwriting guidelines

• Provide response and guidance to compliance related inquiries from operations staff

• Assist with the preparation and coordination of required Quality Control reporting

• Prepare required documentation for state and agency examinations

• Perform additional projects and duties as assigned

  Qualifications:

• 2 years of experience working in audit or with a financial institution

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
