As the Strategic Director, you will work on Patient Monitoring’s biggest, most complex projects across the South Central Region. Working closely with the account community to create and execute a strategy. This role will have responsibility for developing and executing strategic plans to stabilize and grow patient monitoring share across the covered geographies. Leveraging existing resource and leading teams across multiple functions.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Develop competencies and/or expertise in key Patient Monitoring programs (mobility, digital, Central Monitoring Unit’s), and successfully deploy these strategies in big deals

  • Leverage the capabilities of GE – creating measured outcomes for our customers enabled by our workflows and financial engineering

  • Create deep relationships with senior leaders at the customer – measured by developing reference accounts and marketing collaterals (white papers, testimonials, social media)

  • Set the pace of commercial intensity around the specific campaign – coaching the PSS’s and partnering with USCAN and region leadership to advance the deal

  • Represent multiple business groups (cross product/business/P&L) to named account(s), worldwide, or on a region/ country basis

  • Require specialized knowledge across product lines, markets, sales processes, or customer groups. Requires strong commercial awareness, and is expected to influence the development of strategy for their broad sales territory, including control of resources.

  • Interpret simple internal and external business challenges and recommends best practices to improve products, processes or services. Stays informed of industry trends that may inform work.

  • Use high level of judgment to make decisions and handle complex tasks or problems within projects, product lines, markets, sales processes, campaigns or customers. Has ability to assess quality of information given and ask pertinent questions to stakeholders or customers. Able to offer new solutions to problems outside of set parameters and is able to construct and provide recommendations. Uses multiple internal and some external sources outside of own function to help arrive at a decision.

  • May lead functional teams or projects with minimal resource requirements, risk, and/or complexity. Communicates difficult concepts and may influence others' options on particular topics. May guide others to consider a different point of view.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 5 or more years’ experience working in sales and business development
