Medtronic Order Processing Specialist, Diabetes (San Antonio, TX) in San Antonio, Texas

The Medtronic Diabetes Processing Specialist is a critical member of our sales team that works to process and provide support in document collection. In this role, you will use your attention to detail, problem-solving, and people skills to help us foster stronger relationships with doctor’s offices to support our mission of improving the lives of people living with diabetes. Our processors will collaborate with distributors, field sales, and the inside sales teams to ensure sales goals are met. You will be responsible for revenue generation and clean claims billing.

Location: San Antonio, TX: 18302 Talavera Ridge, San Antonio, TX 78257

Hours: Monday- Friday ; 8-hour shift between 7A-8P.

Pay: Set rate of $18 per hour plus a sales incentive bonus that could earn you an additional $4,350 per year or more!

Training: Paid training will begin on July 8th. *To be considered, you must be able to attend training from July 8th- July 24th.

A Day in the Life

  • Partners with inside sales and field sales representatives to deliver customer order processing

  • Submits documents to physician offices or insurance plans

  • Electronically reviews physician charts and labs to submit for insurance approval

  • Partners with physicians by phone, fax, and email to follow up on pending prescriptions, chart notes, labs, or to appeal rejected submissions for prior authorizations

  • Advocates for our patients’ needs by building relationships with physician offices and insurance companies

  • Provides clear written and verbal communication with inside sales and field sales teams

  • Works with national distributors to coordinate claims processing

  • Deliver a minimum of 10 outbound phone calls per day

Must Have: Minimum Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • Two years of customer service or sales experience

Nice to Have

  • Customer service experience within a call center or sales environment

  • Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills

  • Experience utilizing Microsoft Office Products: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook

  • Ability to partner with other employees within a region, district, and territory team

  • Moves with speed and strong attention to detail by being exact, precise, and accurate

In addition to Base Salary, this position is eligible for a Sales Incentive Plan (SIP), which provides the opportunity to earn significant incentive compensation for achieving or exceeding your goals. Learn more about total rewards here .

The provided base salary range is used nationally in the United States (except in Puerto Rico and certain CA and TX locations).

The rate offered is compliant with federal/local regulations and may vary by experience, certification/education, market conditions, location, etc.
