Aston Carter Order Entry Specialist in Spring Valley, New York

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Special order -review specific notes daily on all orders that need to be followed which would include rush orders, delivery dates, and stock

  • Rush orders – call vendor same day to obtain status, and update Sales rep within 24 hours.

  • Orders confirmed -within 24 hours of entry

  • Ship dates – to be obtained within 2 days of entry

  • Tracking updated- to be updated within 24-48 hours of ship date

  • Backorders- notify the Sales rep within 2 days of order

  • Service Calls- schedule and set up

  • Communication – with a Sales rep, and Customer

  • Startup / Demo- Will schedule startup directly with the end-user

  • Returns/damages – evaluate the situation and create Return authorization (RA) when needed
